The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Admin and Document Controller to join our project team based in Bromley by Bow, East London. The role will involve working on EHV power projects within a long-term framework, supporting both the site and project management teams to ensure all documentation is accurate, organised, and submitted in line with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and control project documentation to ensure accuracy, version control, and timely distribution
- Prepare and submit documentation in accordance with client and internal deadlines
- Generate, format, and distribute reports to relevant stakeholders
- Manage electronic filing systems and ensure compliance with project and company standards
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to coordinate documentation needs
- Support administrative functions including data entry, document logging, and correspondence
- Visit project sites to take photographs and gather supporting records
- Assist with financial and administrative reporting where required
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with administrative tasks such as data entry and document control
- Experience generating reports and distributing to stakeholders
- Experience working with ‘Field View’ and/or ‘Viewpoint ‘- beneficial
- Previous experience on power or utilities projects – preferred but not essential
- Experience supporting finance or commercial teams – beneficial
- Full UK driving licence – preferred but not essential
